This platform presents data and insights from Health Canada’s Drug Analysis Service (DAS) and Cannabis Laboratory (CL). These laboratories analyze samples submitted by law enforcement agencies and public health partners across Canada to support investigations, monitor new and emerging trends, and inform public health and safety responses. The platform is organized into five main sections:
- Drug Analysis Service and Cannabis Laboratory, each corresponding to a Health Canada laboratory, present statistics and results from their respective laboratory.
- New and emerging substances: highlights emerging substances and threats.
- Drug classification: provides the standardized drug classification used to support data interpretation.
