The drug notifications presented on this page cover the period from October 5, 2021 to October 31, 2024. The most recent drug notification within this timeframe was triggered on October 30, 2024.
To improve awareness of new and emerging drugs in Canada, notifications are sent to law enforcement and public health officials whenever:
- a potentially harmful substance or mixture is encountered for the first time in a province or territory
- a product is found in a form that may mislead consumers
