Changes to data reporting

We no longer report on the number and percentage of people who completed their primary series. Instead, we report on the number of people who are vaccinated per NACI’s most recent guidance.

Information on the number and percentage of people who have received a COVID-19 vaccine in Canada by province or territory, vaccination status, sex, age group, and last booster dose by vaccine.

We update this information every 12 weeks on Fridays at noon ET, with data up to and including the previous Sunday.

Most recent dose by vaccine

Figure 3 shows the breakdown of the number of people who received at least 1 dose by last vaccine product received. It is also shown as a percentage of the number of people who received at least 1 dose.

Most people received the Pfizer-BioNTech Comirnaty vaccine as their last booster dose, followed by the Pfizer-BioNTech Comirnaty Bivalent (Original and Omicron BA.4/BA.5 or BA.1) vaccines.
