Percentage (%) of adults with children under the age of 18 at home with symptoms consistent with a mood and/or anxiety disorder in the past 12 months

Definition Estimated percentage (%) of adults aged 18 years and over (living with children under the age of 18) with symptoms, in the past year, of a mood (major depressive episode, bipolar I or II, hypomania) and/or anxiety disorder (met the WHO-CIDI criteria for lifetime Generalized Anxiety Disorder; had an episode of generalized anxiety lasting at least 6 months in the past 12 months; and clinically significant distress/ impairment in social/occupational/ other functioning areas)
